The new Eurosilos line of hoppers with lids, “FeedHopper”, has been designed for proper sealed storage of bulk materials. In fact, it preserves their integrity and reduces dispersion.
The evolution of the loading hopper with lid
First of all, it is a self-supporting structure made of two fiberglass half-shells to ensure insulation of the content. It has a total containment capacity of 7 cubic meters and is equipped with 4 support legs with appropriate bracing.
The domed fiberglass lid promotes the runoff of atmospheric agents. It is made in white color to reduce the absorption of solar radiation.
The internal walls are smooth to facilitate the flow of the contained materials. The joint is designed to prevent contact of the bolts with the materials contained, reducing the chances of leaks or condensation.
The lid opening mechanism has been designed on the side leg to optimize maneuvering space and increase safety during the loading phase.
The new FeedHopper has been designed to be geometrically identical to the extraction part of all EUROSILOS items, ensuring compatibility with our entire product range.
